Raspberry Pi's latest in-house silicon is now available to buy separately, so you can incorporate it into your own designs. RP2350 comes in two flavours - A (standard) and B (all the pins). The B chip has 48 usable GPIO pins, including 8 ADCs and 24 PWMs.

New A4 revision ✨
We're now stocking RP2350 chips with the latest A4 stepping. This fixes the E9 hardware bug which affects the behaviour of GPIO inputs under certain conditions. It also addresses some security issues uncovered during the RP2350 Hacking Challenge - click here to find out more about what's changed.
About RP2350
Raspberry Pi RP2350A, the lead product in the RP235x range of microcontrollers, debuted on Raspberry Pi Pico 2 in August 2024, and has since seen use on Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W, and a variety of partner products.
In comparison with its predecessor, RP2040, RP235x offers:
- A 150MHz system clock (versus 133MHz)
- Dual Arm Cortex-M33 cores (versus dual Arm Cortex-M0+)
- Dual RISC-V Hazard3 cores
- 520KB RAM (versus 264KB)
- 8KB on-chip OTP storage
- A comprehensive security model, based on Arm TrustZone for Cortex-M
- Improved power consumption
- An additional PIO core

RP235x Design Guidelines
To ensure correct operation, please adhere to the following guidelines when designing with RP235x microcontrollers:
- Please read and follow the RP235x design guide.
- Please refer to the datasheet, including errata and the reference design in KiCAD format.
- Please use the 12 MHz Abracon ABM8-272-T3 crystal oscillator.
- If using the on-chip SMPS, please use the custom polarised inductor from Abracon (AOTA-B201610S3R3-101-T), and orient it according to the instructions in the design guide.
